Town Engineer Scott Allen and
Recreation Director Jeremy Norsen spoke about some improvements/grants for
Gravino Park.
Roundtable:
*Highway Superintendent
stated that West Walworth Road between Quaker and Rt 31F will be closed for
about a month.
*Councilman McEwen
complimented the lawn mowing at Bullis park.
*Police Chief Colella will be
publishing traffic announcements that the department will be doing some
aggressive law enforcement by stop signs and traffic lights.
*A Certificate of
Appreciation was given to Chief Colella for the efforts that the department has
done drinking and driving.

RESOLUTION NO. 171 (2017) TOWN BOARD AUTHORIZES TOWN
CLERK TO ADVERTISE FOR FULL-TIME POLICE OFFICER POSITION
RESOLVED that the Town Clerk
advertise for applications Town of
Macedon Police Department is accepting applications for a full-time, lateral
transfer candidate for the position of Police Officer. Applicant must have a
permanent civil service classification, and be eligible to lateral transfer per
Wayne County Civil Service requirements. Current starting rate of pay is
$52,640 to $58,489 depending on the level of experience.
Interested candidates should send a resume and cover letter to the attention
of: Chief John Colella, Town of Macedon Police Department, 1620 Wayneport Road,
Macedon, NY 14502 by no later than July 24, 2017.
