The Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Macedon held September 10, 2015 at the Town Complex, 32 Main Street, in the Town of Macedon was called to order by Supervisor William H. Hammond at 7:30 p.m.

7:45 PM -  PUBLIC HEARING – HARV’S HARLEY DAVIDSON TEMPORARY USE PERMIT

This hearing is to take public comments on the temporary use permit application from Harv’s Harley Davidson located at 3120 Kittering Road, Macedon for a Snowmobile Drag Race on Saturday, October 24, 2015 pending Planning Board approval.

 

RESOLUTION NO. 235 (2015) HARV’S HARLEY DAVIDSON TEMPORARY USE PERMIT

RESOLVED the Town Board of the Town of Macedon approves the Temporary Use Permit for Harv’s Harley Davidson for the October 24, 2015 Snowmobile Drag Race.

Roundtable:

  • Councilperson Kenyon – Would like to see if a sidewalk could go in by the Bullis park from the North side to the South driveway entrance as well as what can be figured out for the parking at Bullis.
  • Supervisor Hammond stated that the Recreation Department will be offering a new Horse Program and anyone that is interested can get the information off the Macedon Recreation Website
  • Councilperson Sandy Pagano stated upcoming events:
    • Lumberjack Festival – September 12th  & 13th   
    • Canaltown Days – September 19th  & 20th
    • Main Street Parade with the Tow Path Fife & Drum – September 20th
  • Attorney Anthony Villani
    •  The Sewer Agreement was approved at the Village Board Meeting with a 4-1 vote
    • Trane – Justin Del Vecchio – working towards an agreement.  Mr. Del Vecchio proposed to Town to conduct a workshop with the Attorneys.
  • Ambulance Director Paul Harkness stated that he received a certified letter from the Macedon Village Mayor requesting a meeting on Tuesday, September 15 at 4:00pm to discuss the current Mutual Aid Contract. 

 

RESOLUTION NO. 237 (2015) MTA, INC. VOLUNTEER AMBULANCE

BE IT RESOLVED the Town Board accepts a donation made from the MTA, Inc Volunteer Ambulance in the amount of $1500 to purchase a vehicle from the Macedon Center Fire Department.

RESOLUTION NO. 238 (2015) WAYNE FINGER LAKES BOCES NATURAL GAS BID

RESOLVED the Town Board authorizes the Supervisor to sign Cooperative Natural Gas Bid with Wayne Finger Lakes BOCES Bid #WFL 2016-19.

RESOLUTION NO. 239 (2015) DONATION TO THE TOWN OF MACEDON

BE IT RESOLVED the Town Board accepts a donation made from the estate of Stephen J. MacNeal in the value of $3,500 in the form of a vehicle.

RESOLUTION NO. 240 (2015) SCHOOL TAX COLLECTORS

RESOLVED that as proved in Section 37 of the Town Law of New York State the Town Board of the Town of Macedon does hereby appoint the following individuals to collect for the 2015-2016 school year:

 

Cindy Wetherby is appointed School Tax Collector for the portion of Gananda School District within the Town and be it further

 

RESOLVED that Irene Unterborn is appointed Tax Collector for the portion of the Palmyra-Macedon Central School District within the Town and be it further

 

RESOLVED that Margaret Revelle is appointed School Tax Collector for the portion of the Penfield School District within the Town and be it further

 

RESOLVED that Nicole Ritz is appointed School Tax Collector for the portion of Victor Central School District within the Town and be it further

 

RESOLVED that Cathy Herzog as School Tax Collector for the portion of Wayne Central School District within the Town.
