Wayne County Board of Supervisors passed a proclamation establishing EMS
Week May 20-26, 2012 and Police Officer Week May 6-12, 2012.
RESOLUTION NO. 129 (2012) MOWER PURCHASE
RESOLVED the Town Board authorize the purchase of a mower to be used by
parks, trails and the highway department to be charged to A7110.200, Parks
Equipment and to be paid out of the Park Cash Reserve Account, A0233 and the TE(P)0203 not to exceed $9,000.

Berry Plastics Corporation received a state grant of up to $190,000 to
help pay for building renovations and utility upgrades at its Macedon plant as
part of a $6 million project. The
project led to the creation of 50 local jobs and the retention of 461 jobs.
Discussion followed on Pheasant Run.

It was the consensus of the Board to establish the town office summer hours
beginning June 18 through August 31. The
offices will be open Monday through Thursday from 8 AM – 5 PM and will resume
regular hours September 4, 2012.
