A Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Macedon held November 30, 2010 at the Town Offices, 32 Main Street in the Village of Macedon, was called to order by Supervisor William Hammond at 7:00 P.M.

RESOLUTION NO. 255 (10) EXECUTIVE SESSION

RESOLVED the Board enters Executive Session at 7:10 p.m. to discuss possible litigation.

RESOLUTION NO. 256 (10) OPEN SESSION

RESOLVED the Board returns to Open Session at 7:50 p.m.

RESOLUTION NO. 257 (10) COUNTY COMPENSATION ASSESSMENT LITIGATION

RESOLVED to authorize the Town Attorney to commence such legal proceedings as necessary to challenge the County Compensation Assessment.

RESOLUTION NO. 258 (10) RECEIVER OF TAXES & ASSESSMENTS APPOINTMENT – MAUL

RESOLVED the Town Board appoints Lorie Maul to fill the unexpired term of the elected Receiver of Taxes & Assessments position effective 12/01/2010.

MOTION BY HAMMOND, SECONDED BY PAGANO

Attorney Villani saw no legal problem with the appointment due to receiving only one application, the vacancy is an appointment to fill an elected position and salary was previously established for 2011.

RESOLUTION NO. 259 (10) PHILLIP STEIGER POST #494 AMERICAN LEGION – GAMES OF CHANCE – BELL JAR

RESOLVED the Board approves the Games of Chance License for the Phillip Steiger Post #494 American Legion to conduct Bell Jar for the period of January 1, 2011 through December 31, 2011.
