Don Lewis, A.E.Y. Engineer and Mike Young, President and owner presented their request to rezone 79.7 acres of the 152.3 acres located at 1736 Macedon Center Road from AR40 (Agriculture Residential) to ORM (Office Research Manufacturing). To eliminate spot zoning, the rezoning will be contiguous to an existing ORM district. A portion of the remaining land along Macedon Center Road will remain AR40 to allow for single-family residential lots. This property was formerly the Plumb motorcycle track. The intention is to target small companies that currently operate from residential locations. The proposal will also offer open lot storage of construction equipment, trailers, RVs, material, etc. Flexibility will be offered to specifically meet the needs of the proposed customers. There will be a dedicated right of way. They estimate 17-18 lots with individual septic systems. Subdivision will be in phases depending upon demand. A.E.Y. will relocate from Daansen Road to this area just off the entrance.
