The following businesses have received a “Certification of Recognition” from the Wayne County PROUD Partnership for their commitment to refuse alcohol sales to a minor for April 2008 – CVS, Cedar Liquors, Macedon Mobil Mart, P&C Food Market and WalMart.
Assemblyman Oaks notified the Town of Macedon that we were unsuccessful in obtaining funding to purchase a generator for the Town Hall.
Town Engineer Scott Allen presented a comparison of the Cedar Creek Pumping Station running times before and after the installation of the new Rt. 31 sewer line. The average percentage decrease from 2007 was 60.27%.
Councilman David McEwen is working with Sign Solution on the town logo.

The dog enumeration will begin in the near future.
A memo from Scott Allen was distributed to the Board for their review on construction site erosion control inspections. With the new MS4 storm water requirements from DEC, the Town of Macedon is required to perform additional inspections at construction sites from this point forward relative to storm water erosion control measures. He recommended using the Ontario County SWCD services on a test pilot basis for the upcoming Spectra Project next to Wal-Mart. This will ensure the compliance with the new inspection requirements and open up a new avenue for sharing of governmental services without impacting the taxpayers.
Beginning Tuesday the Town of Macedon Highway Department will be surface treating several town roads.

Officer Colella personally served Ms. Johnson with the notice. The homeowner was not present. Co-workers helped last Saturday on the front yard at 457 Wilkinson Road and will be going back this Saturday to work on the back yard. Ms. Johnson has until July 21 to complete before the Town can take action. Town Engineer Allen will come back to the Board prior to any action taken. Town Attorney Anthony Villani stated that this hearing was Ms. Johnson’s time to contest or ask for more time.
RESOLVED the Public Hearing be closed at 8:05 p.m.

Mark Graf is currently operating a small business at 1106 Quaker Road and would like to build a home and relocate his business on Macedon Center Road between Scott Road and Walworth Road. The house would be 400 feet and a pole barn 1100 feet from the road. Measurements on the pole barn are 50 x80 with an 18 foot inside wall height. A 24’ outside height is allowed prior to requiring a variance. The location is zoned AR-40 and requires a Special Use Permit with an annual renewal. Concrete block, mulch and stone will be stored in containers outside the barn, along with a few trucks and trailers. The barn will not be visible from the road. There have been no complaints regarding the business currently on Quaker Road. Tom Littlefield spoke in favor or Mr. Graf.
RESOLVED the Public Hearing be closed at 8:27 p.m.

The Board will not act on this SUP application until the recommendations have been received from the Wayne County Planning Board. Mr. Graf will be rescheduled at a later date.
RESOLVED the Board enter Executive Session at 8:29 p.m. to discuss litigation.
