A Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Macedon held May 12, 2005 at the Town Offices, 32 Main Street, in the Village of Macedon, was called to order by Supervisor William H. Hammond at 7:30 p.m.

Upon Roll Call, the following members of the Board were present:

Councilperson………………David McEwen

Also Present: Highway Superintendent….Richard Roets

Town Attorney………………Anthony Villani

Rob Werkmeister of Symbolic, Inc. reviewed a proposal to establish a volleyball training center in the Izzo Golf, Inc. business located at 1635 Macedon Commons Parkway. The proposal is an Athletic Training Center focused on providing athletic and wellness enrichment to the Greater Western New York Community. The Center will include four (4) volleyball courts, 1 weight/training room and a store for members. The overall goal is to grow awareness of complete training for young, college-bound athletes. The Special Use Permit was referred to the Planning Board on April 28, 2005.

RESOLVED the Board approves the minutes of April 28, 2005 as presented.

CORRESPONDENCE - The Supervisor presented the following:

John R. Thompson, DEC Environmental Program Specialist inspected the Empire Auto Salvage Facility on March 30, 2005. The facility is well operated and no problems or violations with Department guidelines or the Environmental Conservation Law were observed.

RESOLVED the Town board authorizes the Palmyra-Macedon School District to use three (3) Town of Macedon voting machines for the school budget and election vote to be held May 17, 2005 at the Macedon Elementary School and that any cost for damages will be borne by the Palmyra-Macedon School District.

RESOLUTION NO. 140 (05) LAWRENCE REZONING PUBLIC HEARING

RESOLVED that the Town Board schedules a Public Hearing on the Lawrence rezoning proposal for the north side of Eddy at the corner of Gananda Parkway Tax Map Parcel No. 62113-00-495703 from AR-40 to NCD on June 9, 2005 at 8:00 PM.

RESOLVED the Town Board authorizes the Highway Superintendent to attend the Highway Superintendent School to be held in Ithaca from June 6-8 to be expensed from A5010.400 not to exceed $600.

Based on the recommendation of Highway Superintendent Roets, Building Inspector & Town Engineer Allen and Town Attorney Villani the Town Board accepts dedication of Green Meadow Drive Phase 1 and Spragbrook Circle Phase 1 upon receipt of papers necessary for recordation and payment by the applicant of the associated fees of $1,357.

Scott Allen, Town Engineer presented a draft of the revised Town Zoning Map prepared by Clough Harbour. Mr. Allen is soliciting comments from the Town Board and the public. Copies are available in his office for viewing. Any comments must be in writing, signed and dated.

Tire disposal day will be Friday, June 3^rd from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and June 4^th

From 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at High Acres Landfill, 425 Perinton Parkway, Fairport. This is open to the Town of Macedon and Town of Perinton residents for a cost of $2.00 per tire. Only passenger tires without rims will be accepted, no truck tires.

David Morrison questioned the Town Board relating to his sister's Special Use Permit Application. Ms. McDonough's application was returned by the Town Engineer as incomplete and lacking information. The Town Attorney requested submission of a certified deed showing ownership and a more detailed request.

RESOLVED the Board enter Executive Session at 9:16 p.m. to discuss a particular personnel matter.
