TOWN OF MACEDON

PLANNING BOARD

March 1, 2021

PRESENT:  Vice Chairman Mert Bartels, Members Mark McEwen, Greg Whitney, Suzanne Airy, and Kevin Rooney.  Also present were Town Councilman David McEwen, Town Engineer Scott Allen and Board Clerk Brandi Schutt.  Absent were Chairman Doug Allen and Tom Morrison.

Vice Chairman Mert Bartels called the meeting to order at 7:33 p.m.

PUBLIC HEARINGS:

Motion made by Kevin Rooney to waive the reading of the legal notice, seconded by Suzanne Airy. All in favor; motion carried.

PB-01-21 – Malone– Daansen Road– Preliminary/Final

Motion made by Kevin Rooney to open the public hearing, seconded by Suzanne Airy. All in favor; motion carried.

No one present to speak in favor or against.

Motion made by Kevin Rooney to close the public hearing, seconded by Suzanne Airy. All in favor; motion carried.

PB-03-21 – Forsay– 1835 Daansen Road – Preliminary/Final

Motion made by Kevin Rooney to open the public hearing, seconded by Suzanne Airy. All in favor; motion carried.

OLD BUSINESS:

PB-01-21 – Malone– Daansen Road

Aaron Malone was present to address his application. He explained that he is building a single-family home with a pond and barn. The barn will be a workshop, processing station, and will have a walk-in fridge.

Motion made by Kevin Rooney to issue a negative declaration on SEQRA, seconded by Suzanne Airy. All in favor; motion carried.

Motion made by Kevin Rooney to grant final site plan approval, seconded by Suzanne Airy. All in favor; motion carried.

PB-03-21 – Forsay– 1835 Daansen Road

Motion made by Kevin Rooney to issue a negative declaration on SEQRA, seconded by Suzanne Airy. All in favor; motion carried.

MINUTES:

A motion to approve the 02-01-21 minutes was made by Suzanne Airy, seconded by Kevin Rooney. All in favor; motion carried.
