TOWN OF MACEDON

January 4, 2021
PRESENT: Vice Chairman Mert Bartels, members Kevin Rooney, Mark McEwen, Greg Whitney, and Suzanne Airy.Also present were Town Engineer Scott Allen, Town Councilman David McEwen, and Board Clerk Brandi Schutt. Absent were Tom Morrison and Chairman Doug Allen.
Vice Chairman Mert Bartels called the meeting to order at 7:31 p.m.
PUBLIC HEARINGS:
Motion made by Kevin
Rooney to waive the reading of the legal notice, seconded by Suzanne
Airy. All in favor; motion carried.
PB-12-20 Graf Macedon Center Road Preliminary/Final Single Family Home
Motion made by Kevin Rooney
to open the public hearing, seconded by Suzanne Airy. All in favor; motion carried.

OLD BUSINESS:
PB-12-20 Graf Macedon Center Road Preliminary/Final Single Family Home
Mark Graf was present to address the board on behalf of his application. He explained that he is building a single family home with a metal barn. The barn will be on a concrete pad and will not be seen from the road.

to grant final site plan approval, seconded by Suzanne Airy. All in favor;
motion carried.
NEW BUSINESS:
PB-13-20 Reynolds/Larkin Frey Road Subdivision
Town Engineer Scott Allen
explained that the applicant is purchasing a piece of land from his neighbor to
add more acreage to his property.
Motion made by Kevin Rooney
to issue a negative declaration on SEQRA, seconded by Greg Whitney. All in favor; motion carried.
Motion made by Kevin Rooney
to grant final site plan approval, seconded by Suzanne Airy. All in favor;
motion carried.
DISCUSSION:
Cedar Creek Town Houses
John Barry was present to address the board. He explained that they have been at the planning board in the past to discuss this project. The property is zoned TPD where it was laid out what was allowed to be built. He explained that they would not exceed what was already planned for the property. In phase one they plan to build 8-unit apartment buildings. Phase one will be behind the post office. Each unit will have a 1 car garage.
