TOWN OF MACEDON

PLANNING BOARD

November 4, 2019

PRESENT: Chairman Doug Allen, members Kevin Rooney, Mert Bartels, Greg Whitney, and Tom Morrison. Also present were Town Engineer Scott Allen, Town Councilman David McEwen, and Board Clerk Brandi Schutt. Absent was Suzanne Airy and Mark McEwen

Chairman Doug Allen called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.

OLD BUSINESS:

PB-04-19 – Abundant Solar – Barnes Road – Updated Site Plan Review

Dan Brock was present to address the board. He discussed speaking with neighbors and placing trees where the neighbor wants them. He explained that the garbage and parking will be inside of the fence during construction and that there will not be a lot of traffic once the project is finished. The applicant explained that there will be 2-3 types of trees planted and the power lines will be underground.

Motion made by Kevin Rooney to grant final modified site plan approval with the condition that the applicant supplies the exact landscaping plans, seconded by Mert Bartels. All in favor; motion carried.

MINUTES:

A motion to approve the 10-07-19 minutes was made by Mert Bartels, seconded by Tom Morrison. All in favor; motion carried.

ADJOURNMENT:

A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Greg Whitney, seconded by Mert Bartels. All in favor; meeting adjourned at 8:10 p.m.
