TOWN OF MACEDON

PLANNING BOARD

October 7, 2019

PRESENT: Vice Chairman Mert Bartels, members Greg Whitney, Suzanne Airy, and Tom Morrison. Also present were Town Engineer Scott Allen, Town Councilman David McEwen, and Board Clerk Brandi Schutt. Absent were Chairman Doug Allen, Kevin Rooney, and Mark McEwen

Vice Chairman Mert Bartels called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.

NEW BUSINESS:

PB-12-19 – Cedar Creek Town Houses Phase 1 – Sketch Plan Approval

Angelo Prestigiacomo was present to address the board. Town Engineer Scott Allen explained that the applicants were present in a previous meeting in 2017. The applicant explained that phase one of their project was going to be 60 units of ranch town houses at market rate that will be 1,330 square feet with one car garage. They would be security and fire monitored, with keyless entry. He mentioned they are building the exact same homes in Bloomfield. He answered questions from the board regarding the road and utilities. He stated that they will be built as the phases are built.

Motion made by Suzanne Airy to grant sketch plan approval, seconded by Greg Whitney. All in favor; motion carried

OLD BUSINESS:

PB-04-19 – Abundant Solar – Barnes Road – Site Plan Approval

The applicant was absent; the application was tabled until the next meeting.

MINUTES:

A motion to approve the 09-04-19 minutes was made by Suzanne Airy, seconded by Tom Morrison. All in favor; motion carried.

ADJOURNMENT:

A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Greg Whitney, seconded by Suzanne Airy. All in favor; meeting adjourned at 8:45 p.m.
