TOWN OF MACEDON

PLANNING BOARD

July 5, 2017

PRESENT: Chairman Doug Allen, members Suzanne Airy, Tom Morrison, Kevin Rooney and Greg Whitney. Also present were Town Engineer Scott Allen and Board Clerk Brandi Schutt. Absent were Mert Bartels, Mark McEwen, and Town Councilman David McEwen.

Chairman Allen called the meeting to order at 7:31 p.m.

LOG-IN/SKETCH:

PB-05-17 – Keller – Quaker Road – Industrial site plan – Applicant Joseph Keller was present to present his plans to construct a 48’ X 64’ pole barn on his vacant lot on Quaker Road. Board member Rooney asked if the pole barn would be the same as the one that was built out front including the same style, and Town Engineer Scott Allen also asked if it would be the same size. Mr. Keller assured the Board that it would be the same exact building and he would use it as a shop. Mr. Keller addressed the driveway and that he would widen it and it would go all the way back.

A motion to approve the sketch plan was made by Kevin Rooney, seconded by Suzanne Airy. All in favor (Bartels & McEwen absent); sketch approved.

MINUTES:

A motion to approve the 05-15-17 minutes was made by Suzanne Airy, seconded by Greg Whitney. All in favor (Bartels & McEwen absent); minutes approved.

OTHER BUSINESS:

There is an opening on the Zoning Board of Appeals.

A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Tom Morrison, seconded by Greg Whitney. All in favor (Bartels & McEwen absent); meeting adjourned at 7:44 p.m.
