TOWN OF MACEDON

PLANNING BOARD

December 5, 2016

PRESENT: Members Suzanne Airy, Mert Bartels, Mark McEwen, Tom Morrison, Kevin Rooney and Greg Whitney. Also present were Town Engineer Scott Allen, Town Councilman David McEwen (via Skype) and Board Clerk Susan Bush. Absent was Chairman Doug Allen.

Vice Chairman Bartels called the meeting to order at 7:35 p.m. A motion to waive reading the Legal Notice was made by Kevin Rooney, seconded by Tom Morrison. All in favor (Allen absent); motion carried.

PUBLIC HEARING:

PB-09-16 – Lamarti/Halstead – 623 Frey Road – One-lot realty subdivision – A motion to open the public hearing was made by Kevin Rooney, seconded by Tom Morrison. All in favor (Allen absent); motion carried. Applicants Frank and Deborah Halstead were present to address the Board. There was no one else to speak for or against this application. A motion to close the public hearing was made by Kevin Rooney, seconded by Suzanne Airy. All in favor (Allen absent); motion carried.

NEW BUSINESS:

PB-09-16 – Lamarti/Halstead – 623 Frey Road – One-lot realty subdivision – Preliminary & final – This application is to allow the transfer of a small slice of property (.12 acres) between neighbors (Lamarti to Halstead). A motion for negative SEQR declaration was made by Kevin Rooney, seconded by Greg Whitney. All in favor (Allen absent); motion carried. A motion was made by Kevin Rooney, seconded by Tom Morrison, to approve the one-lot realty subdivision as submitted. All in favor (Allen absent); motion carried.

MINUTES:

A motion to approve the 11-21-16 minutes was made by Kevin Rooney, seconded by Greg Whitney. All in favor (Allen absent); minutes approved.

ADJOURNMENT:

A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Kevin Rooney, seconded by Suzanne Airy. All in favor (Allen absent); meeting adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
