TOWN OF MACEDON

PLANNING BOARD

September 7, 2016

PRESENT: Chairman Douglas Allen and members Suzanne Airy, Mert Bartels, Tom Morrison, Kevin Rooney and Greg Whitney. Also present were Town Councilman David McEwen and Board Clerk Susan Bush. Absent were Mark McEwen and Town Engineer Scott Allen.

Chairman Allen called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.

ZBA REFERRALS:

Z-06-16 – Song – 215 Wilkinson Road – Area Variance – Section 135-61-B-3 – Size of accessory structure (pole barn addition) – A motion was made by Greg Whitney, seconded by Mert Bartels, to give a positive referral to the ZBA for this application. All in favor (McEwen absent); motion carried.

Z-08-16 – Rosati – 2179 Magog Road – Area Variance – Section 135-61-B-5 – Accessory structure in front yard (shed) – A motion was made by Mert Bartels, seconded by Greg Whitney, to give a positive referral to the ZBA for this application. All in favor (McEwen absent): motion carried.

Z-09-16 – Luong – 1399 Victor Road – Area Variance – Section 135-61-D-5 – Raising of chickens on less than five acres – A motion was made by Mert Bartels, seconded by Greg Whitney, to give a positive referral to the ZBA for this application. All in favor (McEwen absent, Rooney abstained); motion carried.

MINUTES:

A motion to approve the 07-18-16 minutes was made by Mert Bartels, seconded by Kevin Rooney. All in favor (McEwen absent); minutes approved.

The 08-01-16 minutes could not be approved due to a lack of appropriate quorum.

ADJOURNMENT:

A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Kevin Rooney, seconded by Suzanne Airy. All in favor (McEwen absent); meeting adjourned at 7:46 p.m.
