TOWN OF MACEDON

PLANNING BOARD

May 12, 2014

PRESENT: Members Mert Bartels, Mark McEwen, Tom Morrison, Kevin Rooney and Greg Whitney. Also present were Town Engineer Scott Allen and Board Clerk Susan Bush. Absent were Chairman Doug Allen, Suzanne Airy and Town Councilman David McEwen.

Vice Chairman Bartels called the meeting to order at 7:33 p.m.

ZBA REFERRAL:

Z-04-14 – Nolan – 117 Burnham Heights – Area Variance – Section 135 Schedule I – Front setback for principal structure (residence) – This is a flag building lot, approved in 1989. There is a substantial drop off behind the proposed residence. Owner would like to bring the house forward and have it align with the house next door. A motion was made by Kevin Rooney, seconded by Greg Whitney, for a positive referral to the Appeals Board. All in favor; none opposed (Airy & Allen absent); motion carried.

OTHER BUSINESS:

Town Engineer Scott Allen reviewed other projects within the Town.

A motion to approve the 04-14-14 minutes was made by Mert Bartels, seconded by Kevin Rooney. All in favor; none opposed (Airy & Allen absent); minutes approved.

ADJOURNMENT:

A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Mark McEwen, seconded by Greg Whitney. All in favor; none opposed (Airy & Allen absent); meeting adjourned at 8:20 p.m.
