TOWN OF MACEDON

PLANNING BOARD

January 14, 2013

PRESENT: Chairman Doug Allen, members Suzanne Airy, Mert Bartels, Mark McEwen, Tom Morrison and Greg Whitney. Also present were Town Councilman David McEwen (via Skype), Town Engineer Scott Allen and Board Clerk Susan Bush. Absent was Kevin Rooney.

Chairman Allen called the meeting to order at 7:31 p.m. A motion to waive reading the Legal Notice was made by Mert Bartels, seconded by Mark McEwen. All in favor (Rooney absent); motion carried.

PUBLIC HEARING:

PB-13-12 – Kunzer – Canandaigua Road – Single-family residential site plan – A motion to open the public hearing was made by Mert Bartels, seconded by Suzanne Airy. All in favor (Rooney absent); motion carried. Fred Shelley of Shelley Associates was present on behalf of the applicant. There was no one else to speak regarding this application. A motion to close the public hearing was made by Suzanne Airy, seconded by Mark McEwen. All in favor (Rooney absent); motion carried.

OLD BUSINESS:

PB-13-12 – Kunzer – Canandaigua Road – Single-family residential site plan – Preliminary & final – Fred Shelley, Shelley Associates, reviewed this application for a single-family home on 7+ acres. Residence will have public water and private septic. A 15 ft. wide driveway with required emergency pull-outs and turnarounds is proposed with the first 30 ft. to be paved. Wayne County Planning Board recommended approval of the plan. A motion for negative SEQR declaration was made by Mert Bartels, seconded by Greg Whitney. All in favor (Rooney absent); motion carried. A motion was made by Greg Whitney, seconded by Mert Bartels, to grant preliminary/final site plan approval for this single-family residence. All in favor (Rooney absent); motion carried.

MINUTES:

A motion to approve the 08-27-12 minutes was made by Mert Bartels, seconded by Mark McEwen. All in favor (Rooney absent); minutes approved.

A motion to approve the 11-12-12 minutes was made by Suzanne Airy, seconded by Doug Allen. All in favor (Rooney absent); minutes approved.

A motion to approve the 12-10-12 minutes was made by Suzanne Airy, seconded by Mert Bartels. All in favor (Rooney absent); minutes approved.

A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Suzanne Airy, seconded by Mert Bartels. All in favor (Rooney absent); meeting adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
