TOWN OF MACEDON

PLANNING BOARD

December 12, 2011

PRESENT: Members Suzanne Airy, Tom Morrison, Kevin Rooney and Greg Whitney. Also present were Town Engineer Scott Allen and Board Clerk Susan Bush. Absent were Doug Allen, Mert Bartels and Mark McEwen.

Acting Chairman Tom Morrison called the meeting to order at 7:35 p.m. A motion to waive reading the Legal Notice was made by Kevin Rooney, seconded by Greg Whitney. All in favor; motion carried.

PUBLIC HEARING:

PB-10-11 – Sykes (Smith) – 1460 Wilson Road – One-lot realty subdivision – A motion to open the public hearing was made by Kevin Rooney, seconded by Greg Whitney. Michelle Smith was present to explain this request. Another resident was present to support the application; no one present to speak in opposition. A motion to close the public hearing was made by Kevin Rooney, seconded by Greg Whitney. All in favor; motion carried.

NEW BUSINESS:

PB-10-11 – Sykes (Smith) – 1460 Wilson Road – One-lot realty subdivision – Preliminary & final – Michelle Smith explained this is a subdivision of her neighbor’s property (Sykes), and she would be purchasing the new lot created (0.597 acres). This lot is directly behind her property at 1468 Wilson Road, and she would like to have the additional land as a place for her children to play. Mr. Sykes has given his permission for her to take this action on his behalf. A motion for negative SEQR declaration was made by Kevin Rooney, seconded by Greg Whitney. All in favor; motion carried. A motion to grant preliminary & final one-lot realty subdivision was made by Kevin Rooney, seconded by Greg Whitney. All in favor; motion carried.

MINUTES:

A motion to approve the 11-14-11 minutes was made by Suzanne Airy, seconded by Kevin Rooney. All in favor; minutes approved.

ADJOURNMENT:

A motion to adjourn was made by Kevin Rooney, seconded by Greg Whitney. All in favor; meeting adjourned at 7:40 p.m.
