TOWN BOARD REFERRAL:
PB-05-11 Pease 590
Frey Road Expansion of non-conforming
use Applicant Scott Pease was present to address the Board. He is purchasing 590 Frey Road which has an existing
mobile home. He would like to remove
that unit, which is in very bad condition, and replace it with a newer, larger
model. The zoning for this area is
General Commercial, and the existing mobile home is considered a legal
pre-existing, non-conforming use. To
replace the current home with a larger one will require Town Board approval for
expansion of a non-conforming use. Mr.
Pease explained a mobile home would not be out of character for the
neighborhood as there are several others on Frey Road. A
motion for a positive recommendation to the Town Board was made by Kevin Rooney, seconded by Tom
Morrison. All in
favor; motion carried.
