TOWN OF MACEDON
PLANNING BOARD
October 11, 2010
PRESENT: Chairman Doug Allen,
members Suzanne Airy, Mert Bartels, Mark McEwen,
Tom Morrison, Kevin
Rooney and Greg Whitney. Also present were Town Councilman David McEwen, Town Engineer Scott
Allen and Board Clerk Susan Bush.
Chairman Allen called the meeting
to order at 7:30 p.m. A motion to waive
reading the Legal Notice was made by Kevin Rooney,
seconded by Mert Bartels. All in favor; motion carried.
PUBLIC HEARING:
PB-10-10 – Frey/Wade/Allen – Pannell Road – Two-lot realty
subdivision – A motion to open the public hearing was made by Kevin Rooney, seconded by Tom
Morrison. All in
favor; motion carried. Engineer David
Matthews of Shelley Associates was present on behalf of the applicant
(Frey). There was no one else to speak
for or against this application. A
motion to close the public hearing was made by Kevin
Rooney, seconded by Tom Morrison. All in favor; motion carried.
NEW BUSINESS:
PB-10-10 – Frey/Wade/Allen – Pannell Road – Two-lot realty
subdivision – Preliminary & final – The applicant (Frey) is purchasing
property from his two adjoining neighbors, Wade & Allen. The overall plan encompasses property in the
Town of Macedon, Wayne County,
and the Town of Farmington, Ontario County.
The Farmington
portion has already been approved as a Boundary Line Adjustment. The Macedon portion is 0.522 ac. from Wade
and 0.016 ac. from Allen. Board members
had no concerns with the plan as presented.
A motion for negative SEQR declaration was made by Mert Bartels, seconded by Tom
Morrison. All in
favor; motion carried. A motion to
approve the two-lot realty subdivision was made by Kevin
Rooney, seconded by Mert Bartels. All in favor; motion carried.
ZBA REFERRALS:
Z-04-10 – Carner – 1536 Cockle Road
– Area Variance – Section 135-61-B-5 - Accessory structure in front yard –
Board members gave a negative referral on this application. They felt the subject structure should be
located on the property to comply with the Town Code; applicant did not give
reasons why structure should be placed in proposed location. Note:
Member Greg Whitney abstained
from this opinion.
Z-05-10 – Pallo – 2331 Vandy Drive
– Area Variance – Section 135-61-B-5 – Accessory structure in side yard – Board
members had no concerns with this application.
LOG-IN:
PB-11-10 – Pulcini (Rudovitz)
– Corner Kittering & West Walworth Roads
– Residential site plan
MINUTES:
A motion to approve the 09-13-10
minutes was made by Mert Bartels,
seconded by Tom Morrison. All in favor; minutes approved.
