TOWN OF MACEDON
PLANNING BOARD
April 27, 2009
PRESENT: Chairman Doug Allen,
members Suzanne Airy, Merton
Bartels, Mark McEwen, Tom Morrison
and Kevin Rooney. Also present were Town Councilwoman Sandy Pagano, Town Engineer Scott
Allen and Board Clerk Susan Bush. Absent was Brian
Gagne.
NEW BUSINESS:
PB-08-09 – Micha – Daansen Road
– Fill – Applicant Frederick Micha was present to
explain his request. He owns an approved
building lot on Daansen Road and would like to
place some fill in a low area on the front portion of the property. Fill would not impact existing drainage
patterns or adjacent properties nor interfere with the future septic system
when a home is built. The fill site is
less than one acre; material to be used will come from public projects in Monroe County. Topsoil will either be stripped back &
used to recover the site or new topsoil will be brought in. Mr. Micha estimated
400-500 yds. of fill would
be used. A motion was made by Kevin Rooney, seconded by Mert
Bartels, to grant this request for 500 yards of fill with area
to be topsoiled & seeded by November 1,
2009. All in favor; motion carried.
ABVI/Goodwill – 1635
North Wilson Road – Signs – Jeff Bush from
Bergman Associates was present on behalf of ABVI/Goodwill. The ZBA has granted a variance for two (2)
additional signs beyond the two (2) allowed by Code,
and the applicant now needs final Planning Board approval. A motion to grant approval of the sign
package as submitted was made by Tom Morrison,
seconded by Kevin Rooney. All in favor; motion carried.
PB-10-09 – Alpco – 846 Route 31F –
Renewal of fill permit – This matter was deferred until the 05-11-09 meeting
due to lack of applicant representation.
LOG-IN:
PB-06-09 – ESL Federal Credit Union – Gananda Parkway
& Canandaigua Road
– One-lot subdivision & commercial site plan – Board discussed landscaping
for this parcel.
PB-09-09 – ESL Federal Credit Union – Macedon Commons
Plaza –
Commercial site plan – Board members discussed lot grading and landscaping for
this parcel.
ZBA REFERRAL:
Z-04-09 – Javorowsky – 1207 Victor Road – Area Variance
– Section 135-64-B-2 – Front & side setbacks for dog kennel – A motion was
made by Doug Allen, seconded by Mert Bartels, for a positive referral with input to
be requested from neighbors of the subject property.

minutes was made by Mert Bartels,
seconded by Kevin Rooney. All in favor; minutes approved.
