TOWN OF MACEDON

PLANNING BOARD

March 10, 2008

 

 

PRESENT:  Chairman Doug Allen, members Suzanne Airy, Brian Gagne, Mark McEwen and Kevin Rooney.  Also present were Town Engineer Scott Allen and Board Clerk Susan Bush.  Absent were Mert Bartels, Tom Morrison and Councilman Ken Nawrocki.

 

Chairman called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.  A motion to waive reading the Legal Notice was made by Kevin Rooney, seconded by Mark McEwen.  All in favor; motion carried.

 

PUBLIC HEARINGS:

 

PB-01-08 – NodeckerHaak Road – One-lot realty subdivision – A motion to open the public hearing was made by Kevin Rooney, seconded by Mark McEwen.  All in favor; motion carried.  Applicant Lester Nodecker was present to explain the request.  There was no one else present to speak for or against this application.  A motion to close the public hearing was made by Kevin Rooney, seconded by Mark McEwen.  All in favor; motion carried.

 

PB-03-08 – Niven/Engel – Barnes Road – One-lot realty subdivision – A motion to open the public hearing was made by Kevin Rooney, seconded by Mark McEwen.  All in favor; motion carried.  Bruce Niven and Alejandro Engel were present to explain the request.  There was no one else present to speak for or against this application.  A motion to close the public hearing was made by Kevin Rooney, seconded by Mark McEwen.  All in favor; motion carried.

 

OLD BUSINESS:

 

PB-01-08 – NodeckerHaak Road – One-lot realty subdivision – Preliminary & final – Mr. Nodecker would like to subdivide 5.7 acres from his 64 acre parcel for possible transfer to a grandchild.  Wayne County Planning Board recommended approval.  A motion for negative SEQR declaration was made by Kevin Rooney, seconded by Mark McEwen.  All in favor; motion carried.  A motion to grant preliminary/final one-lot realty subdivision was made by Kevin Rooney, seconded by Mark McEwen.  All in favor; motion carried.

 

PB-03-08 – Niven/Engel – Barnes Road – One-lot realty subdivision – Preliminary & final – Mr. Niven would like to subdivide 20 acres from their 49± acre parcel for sale to Mr. Engel.  Wayne County Planning Board recommended approval.  A motion for negative SEQR declaration was made by Kevin Rooney, seconded by Mark McEwen.  All in favor; motion carried.  A motion to grant preliminary/final one-lot realty subdivision was made by Kevin Rooney, seconded by Mark McEwen.  All in favor; motion carried.

 

 

MINUTES:

 

Under OLD BUSINESS, PB-14-07 – Spectra Group – Route 31/North Wilson Road

Realty subdivision & commercial site plan – Item (6) should be amended as follows:

(6) 15 ft. difference in elevation between strip plaza & Goodwill.

 

A motion to approve the 02-11-08 minutes subject to the above amendment was made by Brian Gagne, seconded by Suzanne Airy.  All in favor; minutes approved.

 

The 02-25-08 minutes could not be approved due to lack of proper quorum.

A motion to adjourn was made by Suzanne Airy, seconded by Kevin Rooney.  All in favor; meeting adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
