PLANNING BOARD
September 10, 2007
PRESENT: Chairman
Doug Allen, members Suzanne Airy, Mert Bartels, Brian Gagne, Mark McEwen, Tom
Morrison and Kevin Rooney. Also present
were Councilman Ken Nawrocki, Town Engineer Scott Allen and Board Clerk Susan
Bush.
Chairman Allen called the meeting to order at 7:35 p.m.
A motion was made by Kevin Rooney, seconded by Tom Morrison,
to waive reading the legal notice as it appeared in the Times. All in favor; motion carried.
PUBLIC HEARINGS:
PB-10-07 –
Morrison – 1796 Magog Road
– 3-lot realty subdivision – A motion to open the public hearing was made by
Mert Bartels, seconded by Kevin Rooney.
All in favor; motion carried.
Betty Morrison Boughton and Robert Boughton were present to explain this
request for realty subdivision. There
was no one else present to speak for or against this application. A motion to close the public hearing was made
by Kevin Rooney, seconded by Mert Bartels.
All in favor; motion carried.
PB-11-07 – Pecora
– 1354 Canandaigua Road
– 2-lot realty subdivision – A motion to open the public hearing was made by
Kevin Rooney, seconded by Mert Bartels.
All in favor; motion carried.
Robert Morris, land surveyor, was present on behalf of the
applicant. There was no one else present
to speak for or against this application.
A motion to close the public hearing was made by Kevin Rooney, seconded
by Mert Bartels. All in favor; motion
carried.

– 3-lot realty subdivision – A motion to open the public hearing was made by
Kevin Rooney, seconded by Mert Bartels.
Robert Morris, land surveyor, was present on behalf of the
applicant. There was no one else present
to speak for or against this application.
A motion to close the public hearing was made by Kevin Rooney, seconded
by Mert Bartels. All in favor; motion
carried.
OLD BUSINESS:
PB-10-07 –
Morrison – 1796 Magog Road
– 3-lot realty subdivision – Preliminary & final – Member Tom Morrison
recused himself from discussion and voting on this matter. This is a subdivision and land transfer
between neighbors. Parcels of .266 acres
and .367 acres are being transferred to 1790 Magog Rd. and 1772 Magog Rd., respectively. Motion for negative SEQR declaration was made
by Kevin Rooney, seconded by Mert Bartels.
All in favor; motion carried. A
motion to grant 3-lot preliminary/final realty subdivision was made by Kevin
Rooney, seconded by Mark McEwen. All in
favor; motion carried.
PB-11-07 – Pecora
– 1354 Canandaigua Road
– 2-lot realty subdivision – Preliminary & final – Robert Morris, land
surveyor, explained this land transfer of 2.77 acres between neighbors (1354 to 1345 Canandaigua Road). A motion for negative SEQR declaration was
made by Mert Bartels, seconded by Kevin Rooney.
All in favor; motion carried. A
motion to grant preliminary/final 2-lot realty subdivision was made by Kevin
Rooney, seconded by Mert Bartels. All in
favor; motion carried.
PB-12-07 – Spite –
1570 Walworth Road
– 3-lot realty subdivision – Preliminary & final – Robert Morris, land surveyor,
reviewed the proposal. This is the
resubdivision of two lots (9+ acres with house and 30± acres of farmland) into
three lots (5 acres with house, 5 acres vacant, 29± acres of farmland). A motion for negative SEQR declaration was
made by Kevin Rooney, seconded by Mert Bartels.
All in favor; motion carried. A
motion to grant preliminary/final 3-lot realty subdivision was made by Tom
Morrison, seconded by Kevin Rooney. All
in favor; motion carried.
NEW BUSINESS:
PB-13-07 – Pulcini
– 2461 Quaker Road
– Log-in & sketch – Ken Pulcini was present to explain his request for a
residential site plan. He would like to
build a single-family home (1,250 sq. ft.) on the parcel containing his
business. Septic will be new;
electric/water will come off existing lines.
Board members questioned distance between house & barn regarding
fire safety. Town Engineer has addressed
this concern. A motion to grant sketch
plan approval was made by Tom Morrison, seconded by Kevin Rooney. All in favor; motion carried.
MINUTES:
A motion to approve the 08-27-07 minutes was made by Mert
Bartels, seconded by Tom Morrison. All
in favor; minutes approved.
ADJOURNMENT:
A motion to adjourn was made by Mert Bartels, seconded by
Kevin Rooney. All in favor; meeting
adjourned at 7:50 p.m.
