PRESENT: Chairman Doug Allen, members Mert Bartels, Brian Gagne, Tom Morrison, Kevin Rooney. Also present were Councilman Ken Nawrocki and Town Engineer Scott Allen. Absent were Tom Ferreri and Mark McEwen.

Chairman Allen called the meeting to order at 7:32 p.m.

Symbolic, Inc. - 1635 Commons Parkway - Special Use Permit - John Hill and Matt Romeika were present to explain this application for an athletic training facility to be used by VolleyFX Girls Volleyball Club. Material was presented to the Board regarding layout of the facility, hours of operation, vehicle traffic, parking, safety & security. Board members noted the existing parking would be insufficient for this use. Additional lighted parking would be needed on the north side of the building. Other areas discussed were redesignation of loading docks, relocating trash compactor, adding emergency exits and posting fire lanes. Board members felt there were no planning issues that could not be resolved. Motion made by Kevin Rooney, seconded by Mert Bartels, for a positive referral to the Town Board. All in favor; motion carried.

Z-10-05 - Morici - 898 Turner Road - Area Variance - Section 135 Schedule I - Side setback - Board had no concerns; positive referral.

Approval of 5-09-05 minutes deferred to next meeting.
